Two profiles, two approaches. If you start your preparation with me over several months, we follow the CEFR and France Éducation / Alliance Française themes — around a dozen in total. For each one, we study texts, podcasts, and broadcasts, then train on a full exam paper.

If you already know these themes well, or have spoken French for a long time and simply want to formalise your level, we go straight to training on multiple past papers.

From the very first lesson, I explain the exam conditions, the marking system, and how much weight each criterion carries.

An exam covers around 8 of the 12 programme themes, often combined with one another — for example artificial intelligence and education in France within the same topic. I create tailor-made topics to train you on these specific combinations, and we also draw on past papers (topics that have actually come up in previous years) to vary the formats and get you used to every possible phrasing.

Your speaking test is recorded. I watch it back in full after the lesson, the way an examiner would, to spot what a simple « in the moment » impression doesn’t always reveal.

I then write you a detailed report: what’s working, what needs the most attention, and precise advice for what’s next — not general remarks, but exactly what you need to progress toward the level you’re aiming for.
